Printing systems for foils and films

Today, industrial product marking increasingly presents itself as printing on tubular bags and surfaces such as film and films.

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and flexible metallized films are common packaging for confectionery and salty snacks. Flexible packaging is the fastest growing type of packaging, driven by innovations such as resealable zip closures, inspection windows and folding bags. Further reasons for the popularity of flexible packaging are the attractive effect on the consumer, the good portionability of the contents and the lower transport costs.

Thermal transfer printers (TTO) we use offer high resolution and variable data markings on a variety of films with a choice of ribbons in different colors for greater contrast. Inkjet printers (CIJ printers) can apply markings before or after forming the film packaging, opening up additional integration possibilities.
